  1. Give yourself plenty of time

Give yourself plenty of time to get ready. Make sure to schedule enough time for hair, makeup, and dress preparation. It's a good idea to plan for about two hours for hair and makeup, and another hour for getting into your dress.

2. don’t forget to eat

it is so common to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of the day and completely forget to eat! get ahead of this by scheduling an order for lunch to be delivered while you get ready.

3. choose your bride tribe

Surround yourself with people who make you feel calm and happy. Whether it's your bridesmaids, your parents, or your best friend, having people around you who you love and trust will help you feel relaxed and at ease.

4. ditch your phone

the last thing you need is people texting you for directions, vendors calling with questions, and great aunt judy calling you to ask why she didn’t RECEIVE an invite. give your phone to a trusted friend and let them filter any calls and texts so you can be fully present and in the moment.

5. Take a moment to yourself.

Even with all the excitement and preparation, it's important to take a moment to yourself to reflect and collect your thoughts. This could be as simple as taking a few deep breaths or going for a quiet walk.
